There are a group of people including myself that are interested in various types of gas turbine engines.
Some of these people make there own gas turbines and more often than not, mount them on to vehicles such as Go-Kart's, Shopping Trolleys and Ride On Lawn Mowers. The problem that we have is where can such devices be used, as use on the UK roads is probably illegal. I say 'probably illegal' because no police officer I have asked has actually told me what law taking one on the road would break. Anyway, in the interest of keeping everyone happy, its considered best to do the job properly and find ourselves an old runway where nobody will be disturbed and we can safely run our beloved projects.
