Hmm, What a great idea!!!
Although Luc's not going
to like the fact that I'm going to have to cut it up
a bit (him being from Belgium and all that).

I happen to very
lucky to be able to get my hands on this Belgium Air
force Epervier Recon Drone. It was surplus stock to its
previous owner, so a deal was agreed. Thanks to Richard,
Ian and Paul for the help getting it to me.

Lid off
time, so excited, I'm so chuffed. The tail fin, wings
etc are attached to the
inside of the lid for safe transport.

The vertical
tail assembly, the rudder servo is built in to the section
with the electrical connections at the base,
three antenna connections are just visible to the front.

means 'Drone number 27', only 49 of
these drones were ever made as per this useful
reference on the Internet.

Business end
of the drone, the Lucas CT3201 gas turbine engine , the
turbine wheel bears a resemblance to the turbine wheel
from the
lucas CR201.

cover removed, exposing the fuel pump assembly and air

main central panel removed, 3 out of the 4 control
box's can be seen.

the camera would have been mounted when in operation,
the glass window can be seen at the bottom of the fuselage. |
