The HiJet will be supplied complete
with a running Rolls Royce Viper 102 Gas Turbine
Engine.
-
The Viper is easily removed within
a couple of minutes by
undoing 2 x M14 bolts, 1 x Q/R Power Connector,
1 x Q/R fuel line and two push/ pull control cables.
-
All electronic controls
for the Viper have been fitted to
a custom control panel fitted inside the cab.
-
The
engine has has a starter motor from a Shackleton
Viper 203 fitted,
for those of you in the know an auto start Viper 102 is pretty rare
and highly desirable.
- The Viper's starting battery and Soft Start system
are integral to the chassis of the Viper, no electrical
accessories are required
to
start the jet engine, push the start button and your
running.
-
The Hijet has a set of specially
made Compomotive Alloy Wheels fitted and to complement
a custom aluminium rear
panel set pinted in white.
- I have acheived 0-100MPH in approximately 6 seconds
(Has been detuned since by reducing the exhaust nozzle).
Compare this to other street legal jet converted
cars, all show and no action!
- The HiJet has an MOT and assuming the Gas Turbine
is not running and disabled, is road
legal.*
