Olympus 593 Light Up!
It did take a while to get the fuel system primed and the run itself was cut short due to low oil pressure readings, but apart from that the 593 behaved as expected. The flame that can be observed was due to testing an emergency dump valve that I installed that bypasses fuel back to the fuel tank in case of an unexpected high power event (I can only run the engine to idle without a primary nozzle), the sudden reduction in fuel pressure very briefly alters the burn characteristics in the combustion chamber and a flame is observed. RPM was in the region of 30 to 35%.
Sorry, No Audio as I forgot to plug the microphones in 🙁
