As my wife and most of my
friends will tell you, I have had been quite
stressed about the SVA test and ideally would
have liked to take a little more time on the
build, but with the advent of the dreaded IVA
replacement test soon upon us, I had to make
some spare time and have a big push on getting
the Rocket kit finished, anyway the 9th February
was soon upon me and off I went to the Shrewsbury
VOSA branch for the test.
Failed on the first attempt, but I'm not worried anymore.
We all dred the examiner, but after 10 minutes I soon realised that my examiner
(Mark) was actually human and had a sense of humor and everything. He didn't
wear
a
set of white overalls, If
something
was wrong or misplaced I would get a fail, but he would also offer solutions
to the
problem and where possible would allow me to try to remedy the issue.
At the end of the 4 hour examination I was given a list of minor failures,
none of them serious and probably could all be amended within half a day in
the workshop.
Just had my Re-Test and I have a pass! Jobs a Goodun.
I finally have my MAC, now of to the DVLA now to register the car
