rear engine supports can be clearly seen in this picture.
The engine when
run expands approximately 2mm, in length, this should
taken up by the aluminium rear panels.

A spring weight
scale can be seen strapped to the rear of the Kart, this
was to give me an idea of the thrust it was producing.
