Whilst arrangements are in place for the main use of the engine, I thought it would be fun to fit the XL200 in to the back of a Pocket Racing Bike. I found this one on eBay and fortunately it was less that a mile away from where I live.
I had every intention of giving it to Freddie my son when he was a 'bit' older, then realisation hit me that being a new born he cant even hold the weight of his own head. I guess it will be sold after completion of the project and maybe he will get another in a few years when he is a six or so.

Funky view.

Top view.
To fit the XL 200, the exhaust and engine will have to be removed to make space. The rear fairing was removed first.

Followed by the front fairing and front wheel.
Now the engine and exhaust can removed without obstruction.

Just a quick feel to how it will look. mean or what!
Now the downside, to fit the engine safely and that it also looks the part, the lower front part of the engine is only about 5mm away from the rear wheel. This concerns me and as I do not wish to induce any damage to the XL200 by means of FOD, in the interest of safety I am reluctantly going to have end this project early.

But Wait; Look what Iv 'e found.

A slightly bigger bike with a bust engine, seems like this mini projects back on.
The bike has a seized engine and my intention is that once I have used it as a jet powered bike, an attempt will be made to repair the bikes engine and it will be put back together and sold on.

Rear view of the bike showing where the XL200 will be mounted, in exactly the same place as the exhaust silencer.
This pic shows the very basic installation of the Wren XL200. The whole installation only took a couple of hours.
Here we go, the bike back together minus it's original engine and fairings fitted. Now for some trial runs. I dont expect it will go that fast with me sat on it as I am a tad heavy, time to find a light test pilot.
